Jamesville- Dewitt Red Rams’ Lacrosse team fell to the Niskayuna Silver Warriors on Saturday, May 4th. This was the first loss for J-D this season, but Niskayuna has kept thier winning streak and undefeated season alive. These two teams are very similar in skill, which created a game that remained neck and neck until the end.
These two teams opened the first quarter evenly, and finished the period tied 2-2. It was not until the second quarter that the Silver Warriors were able to take the lead, going ahead by one. The Jamesville- Dewitt Red Rams fought back, finding the back of the net three times, and took the lead in the third quarter. Ahead 7-6, the Red Rams thought they could push through to a victory, but not for long. The Niskayuna squad battled back for four more goals ultimately taking home a win with a final of 10-9.
