Coming off four consecutive wins by over ten-goal margins, Niskayuna faced a strong Ballston Spa squad on May 8 in a tough battle.
Niskayuna came into the game with a 12-1 record, ranking 23rd in the DigitalSports National Lacrosse Rankings and 7th in New York. Ballston, though unranked, came into the game at 10-3, with an eight-game win streak in league play.

The Silver Warriors wasted no time responding in the third quarter. Niskayuna netted four goals in the third, capped off by two of Ryan Lawson’s game-high four goals at the end of the quarter, to take the game into the final stanza leading 8-6.
In another four-goal fourth quarter for the Warriors, Niskayuna held Ballston to two goals, taking a 12-8 victory over the Scotties.
Along with the constant scoring threat of Ryan Lawson, the Warriors’ offense was led by Michael D’Amario who scored three of his own, while dishing two assists. On top of that John Prendergast netted a hat trick and Aidan O’Brien added on a goal and two assists.
